5D Thinking on the Nervous System

In the first dimension, Analytical Understanding, we discover how the nervous system is the center where conscious functions like talking and walking, and unconscious functions, such as breathing and digestion, are coordinated. Next, in the second dimension, Analogical Thinking, we compare the role of a nerve cell in the nervous system to that of a light sensor in a man-made, street-light system. Then, in the third dimension, the Critical Thinking dimension, we reflect on how a street light system must be the product of intelligent people with access to a wide range of resources and cumulative knowledge. Then, we discuss why the nervous system could not have been created by its blind components, nature or chance. In the fourth dimension, Meditative Thinking, after reflecting on the complexity and interconnectivity of the nervous system, we conclude that the nervous system must be the work of a Creator with infinite knowledge and power. We invite readers to know the Hidden Hand behind the carefully interconnected activities of our nervous system. Finally, in the fifth dimension, the Moral Thinking dimension, we reflect on the value of the nervous system in our daily lives and derive certain moral lessons from its scientific knowledge. We learn that the best way to honor the gift of a nervous system is to acknowledge its Most Generous Maker through good character and noble deeds.
